Position Houseman/ Housemaid Reports to Operations Manager Requirements: Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a consistent basis Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools 1 year of hotel experience is preferred, but not required General Responsibilities Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and equipment, operation of grounds maintenance equipment, and general repair Timely response and recording of guest service requests, according to company policy Assist in the sorting, pre-treatment, washing, drying, and folding of hotel linens Stock, maintain, and organize storage closets and facilities with proper inventory levels Maintains property grounds and public spaces in excellent condition Stays accessible to front desk, housekeeping, and the Operations Manager Specific Responsibilities Use hotel software systems as per Aatmos Standard Operating Procedures Remove dirty linen and trash out of guest areas Assist room attendants in making rooms guest ready Sort and pre-treatment of stained linen Load laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents Folds laundry materials by hand such as sheets, pillowcases, wash cloths, towels, blankets, and bedspreads Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day Maintain flower beds, parking lots, and other outdoor spaces in excellent condition Stocks linen cart, laundry room and supplies in a neat and organized manner Maintain public spaces and facilities (e.g., pool, public restrooms, fitness center, lobby, elevator landings etc.) in excellent condition Assists Guest Service team with guest requests and work orders Assist in the property preventative maintenance and deep clean programs Perform other duties as assigned Optimum Attributes Take pride in cleanliness Performs job in a professional manner in front of guests and associates by maintaining a positive attitude, staying calm, being diplomatic and responding promptly to guest inquiries or complaints Maintains composure and objectivity under pressure Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task Effective communication skills Good listener with attention to detail Team player with a pleasing personality Reliable, responsible, and dependable Well-groomed and professional appearance Flexible schedule and willing to work on holidays, if required Performance Standards Performance shall be measured by budgeted Minutes Per Occupied Room (MPOR), Guest Service Index (GSS), Quality Audit (QA), and the Associate Standard Index (ASI).
