Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment.

This individual will be responsible for moving products "in and out" of the facility: polymer concrete boxes, covers, and vaults, from designated storage locations in the yard.

Also, the material handler will be responsible for loading products "onto and off-of" trucks for daily shipment.

Job Responsibilities



* Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and guidelines


* Actively participate in company's Continuous Improvement Programs


* Ability to read and interpret Production Work Orders (PWO), Assembly Pick Sheets (Orders), and Bill of Ladings


* Identify safety hazards in the yard and storage locations


* Inspect and perform maintenance checks on the forklift, daily & weekly


* Inspect material, products, or equipment for defects


* Pick, wrap and stage orders for daily shipment or storage


* Maintaining accuracy and organization of yard bin locations


* Perform cycle counts as needed


* Consolidate pallets as needed


* Empty dumpsters and scrap bins


* Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements



* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent


* Experience with forklift operations


* Strong attention to details


* Basic math skills


* Good time management


* Good communication skills


* Must be able to stand or sit for long durations


* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
