Facility Team Lead

Would you like to be part of a brand-new logistics project and help set up facility operations from the very beginning?

For our new DHL Supply Chain site in Ștefăneștii de Jos, we are looking for a technically minded Facility Lead who will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the site.

You will coordinate external service providers, lead a team of four employees and help prepare the facility for the start of operations.

What will you be responsible for?



* Managing the operation and maintenance of the logistics site


* Leading and coordinating a team of four employees


* Managing external suppliers and service providers


* Coordinating maintenance, repairs, mandatory inspections and technical checks


* Monitoring the condition of the building, charging stations and other technical equipment


* Assessing technical issues and deciding when external service or repair is required


* Coordinating material handling equipment and communicating with service partners


* Setting up facility processes for the launch of the new site


* Ensuring compliance with environmental, waste management and safety requirements


* Preparing reports and maintaining operational and technical documentation

What do we expect from you?



* Previous experience in facility management, technical maintenance or a similar technical role


* Good understanding of technical documentation, maintenance processes and relevant legislation


* Experience in managing external suppliers and service companies


* Ability to assess technical problems and coordinate the appropriate solution


* Previous experience in leading a small team


* Fluent Romanian and communicative English


* Responsibility, independence and strong organisational skills


* Good communication and problem-solving abilities


* Willingness to commute to Bolintin-Deal near Bucharest for several weeks during onboarding


* Experience with the launch of a new site, material handling equipment, charging stations, Jungheinrich equipment or security systems will be considered an advantage.
