The Role

As part of our on-site Finance & Business Support team, you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial operations and reporting.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance & Business Support, you will work closely with departments across the hotel, IHG shared services and external stakeholders to support strong financial performance and effective commercial decision-making.

Your Day to Day – Inspire Incredible

As our Accountant, you will:


* Complete daily revenue reconciliation, financial reporting and audit balancing, ensuring accuracy and timely identification of variances. 


* Manage Accounts Payable processes, supplier reconciliations and payment run, working closely with hotel departments and IHG shared services. 


* Support month-end and year-end financial close, including journals, general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations. 


* Assist with payroll processing and analyse labour costs and productivity to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 


* Support internal controls, compliance and internal and external audit requirements in line with IHG standards. 


* Partner with department leaders to provide financial information and insights that support commercial performance and effective decision-making. 


* Work closely with the overseas BSC team and IHG Corporate Accounting to resolve financial queries and discrepancies. 


* Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, efficiency and accuracy across the hotel.
