What You'll Do
As an LPN at NHC HealthCare Oakwood, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.


* Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.


* Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate members of the care team.


* Administer medications and treatments as ordered.


* Prioritize patient care needs and help coordinate an efficient workflow.


* Follow current standards of nursing practice and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.


* Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to support quality patient care.


* Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and fellow team members.


* Help create a positive, supportive environment for our patients and partners.

Qualifications


* Current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license


* Strong communication and organizational skills


* Compassion for serving the geriatric population


* Positive attitude and team-focused approach
