Sanitation Lead- 1st Shift

Position Summary: Leads and instructs sanitation technicians so that the master sanitation schedule is completed for daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annually cleaning and sanitization.

Responsible for adhering to Claremont Foods employee health and safety requirements and complying with Food and Drug Administration and Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level Two food safety regulations and rules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling and leading sanitation technicians on a weekly basis.

Assists with sanitation technician evaluations and hiring.

Amends and maintains accurate Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and ensures sanitation records are accurate, complete and organized.

Responsible for training sanitation technicians on specific SSOPs, personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical use.

Performs as a working lead as required and oversees progress of cleaning throughout the shift.

Ensures all equipment is cleaned, sanitized and passes visual inspection (residue free) and pre-operational swabs.

Completes supplies and chemical inventory for ordering purposes.

Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food safety Level 2 compliance standards; as trained upon annually.

Informs Facility Maintenance personnel of any damage observed or potential upkeep issues to operational equipment promptly.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Written and Computer Communication Skills Oral Communication Skills (Bi-Lingual preferred) Organization/Time Management Ability to lift up to 50 pounds High School Diploma or Equivalent.
