Installation Technician Team Lead

Job Summary: The Install Technician Lead is responsible for performing aspects of both Install and Recovery.

The Install Technician Lead will install Pella product, diagnose and repair Pella product, read contract documents, provide timely documentation and communication to relevant stakeholders, and lead an Installation team to provide high-value service to internal and external customers.

Depending on the team assignment, individual skill level and experience, the Installation Technician Lead will spend a variable amount of time on Installation or Recovery work.

Schedule and Availability: Weekdays during normal business hours from 7am to 4pmSome overtime as required and approved by management Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Install Serve as the leader on Install jobs with assigned team membersMaintain continued communication with Installation Supervisor about relevant fieldupdatesAct as main point of communication with appropriate stakeholders on the assigned projectInstall windows and doors with proper Pella install procedureOperate jobsite equipment (Lifts, Lulls etc.)Maintain trucks and tools, assuring all materials are ready for jobsFollow all OSHA guidelines as well as jobsite best practicesPerform quality control measures for each jobRegularly communicate with Project Managers about project statusRecord updates on Company Cam about needed materials and job statusAbility to read contract documentsOversee the work of other team members and coach as necessaryConfirm proper material per job requirementsEnsure ownership of jobsites Recovery Diagnose and repair Pella products of various styles and vintagesMeet with customers to diagnose issuesIdentify the part that is damaged or causing customer issuesBring information to the Project Manager to order required parts as necessaryRecord updates on Company Cam about job statusConfirm proper Pella product is accounted for and verified per contract specificationsMeet daily with Operations team members to provide timely recaps on job statuses and projectsPerform all other duties as necessary or assigned
