Job Summary

Responsible for assisting designated machine operator or production team in a variety of functions including, but not limited to maintenance, clean up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, material handling, and other.

Job Responsibilities



* Operate and maintain Tumbler equipment safely


* Inspect the quality of products according to standards, and remove junk from production line


* Detect and report any equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor


* Sort product according to specification


* Assist in maintaining accurate production flow


* Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes


* Execute Daily and Business fundamentals


* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine Operator


* Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process


* Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements



* High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience


* Ability to read and comprehend simple operating instructions and safety procedures


* Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred


* While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time


* Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds each, with assistance if needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high


* Must wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses


* Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment

Compensation



* $20 - $22 per hour


* Additional $1.50 per hour on night shift
