Essential Responsibilities


* Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight to residents throughout the shift.


* Perform comprehensive resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition.


* Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.


* Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and medical emergencies.


* Supervise and support LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants to promote quality resident care.


* Communicate resident status and changes in condition to physicians, families, and appropriate members of the healthcare team.


* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care, assessments, and clinical observations.


* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes.


* Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.


* Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications


* Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.


* Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, rehabilitation, or acute care preferred.


* Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.


* Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with nursing staff.


* Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
