Essential Responsibilities


* Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.


* Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.


* Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and maintaining resident safety.


* Measure and record vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff.


* Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely manner.


* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.


* Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and comfort.


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.


* Follow infection-control procedures and facility policies and regulations.


* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.


* Work collaboratively with licensed nursing staff and other team members to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifications


* Required: Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.


* Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care preferred.


* New CNAs are encouraged to apply.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
