RITN Program Manager - Minnesota based Preferred

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The RITN Program Manager is responsible for the overall program management, coordination, and operational execution of the Radiation Injury Treatment Network (RITN).

This role coordinates the planning, implementation, and monitoring of RITN program activities to ensure achievement of grant objectives, compliance with funding requirements, and effective engagement of participating centers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities for the RITN Program Manager include managing grant deliverables and reporting, coordinating participating-center activities, supporting Advisory Council operations, developing budget and proposal inputs, overseeing training and tabletop exercise initiatives, maintaining RITN website and portal content, and ensuring accurate program documentation.

The RITN Program Manager serves as a subject matter expert in program management, operational coordination, and representing RITN for both internal and external collaborations.
In addition, the role supports NMDP Business Operations emergency management and logistics-risk activities during adverse events that may affect time-sensitive blood stem cell logistics or other critical transplant operations, helping to ensure organizational readiness and operational resilience.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Radiation Injury Treatment Network (RITN) Program Management & Coordination:
• Manage daily RITN program operations, grant deliverables, timelines, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Coordinate annual participating center requirements, including contact updates, GETS validation, capacity surveys, SOP reviews, consent form maintenance, education activities, and tabletop participation.
• Support participating center roster management using defensible criteria such as transplant status, geography, military-based proximity, bed capacity, pediatric/adult coverage, and clinical input.
• Coordinate RITN Advisory Council activities, including roster maintenance, meeting preparation, documentation, follow-up tracking, and engagement with medical, federal, clinical, nursing, and center representatives.
• Support ONR grant performance by coordinating task lists, budget inputs, staffing documentation, supporting artifacts/deliverables, and internal follow-up items.
• Coordinate RITN meetings, webinars, workshops, training events, conferences, and vendor-supported tabletop exercises.
• Maintain RITN website content, training materials, tracking tools, and program documentation to ensure current, accessible, and accurate information.
• Represent RITN as a subject matter expert in internal and external meetings, conferences, task forces, exercises, and partner discussions.
• Maintain the RITN Portal website and content.

NMDP Business Operations Tactical Support:
• Provide emergency management support to NMDP Business Operations during adverse events affecting time-sensitive blood stem cell transport.
