About the Position

As a Truck Driver, you will operate various trucks-to safely transport aggregates and asphalt to multiple job sites.

You'll also contribute to our yard operations, managing stockpiles and moving materials as needed.

This skilled role values independence, but you'll be supported by a collaborative team and provided clear guidance for complex tasks.

What You'll Do


* Drive trucks safely and professionally on highways, local roads, job sites, and in the yard.


* Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining thorough DOT-compliant documentation.


* Check vital vehicle functions (fluid levels, tires, lights, controls) for optimal operation.


* Attach and detach a variety of trailers, including end dump and oil tankers.


* Keep detailed delivery logs.


* Load and unload materials with care and efficiency.


* Monitor gauges and controls throughout vehicle operation.


* Maintain daily mileage logs and ensure clean, orderly vehicles.


* Use truck tarps to cover loads when required.


* Uphold product quality standards and assist with minor maintenance; report major issues for prompt resolution.


* Follow all company safety protocols and report any concerns to leadership.


* Obey traffic laws and follow dispatch instructions precisely.


* Be a team player, support co-workers and contribute to a positive work environment.


* Commit to regular, dependable attendance and flexibility with schedules and assigned duties.

Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED required.


* CDL A license required; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
