Spa Receptionist/Attendant

As a Spa Receptionist/Attendant, you offer a positive and professional guest and service provider experience within the The Blake Spa & Wellness Center.

You pay attention to detailand ensure youput a personal touch that says every guest is special.

You have a curiosity in massage, aesthetics and an interest in the world of wellness and healing.

You are enthused about skincare products and ingredients and share this passion with guests and other staff.

As Blake staff, you are knowledgeable about Taos Ski Valley, The Blake Hotel and The Spa and able to provide direction to guests to include packages offered, hours of operation, class schedules of The Wellness Center, mountain statistics and the adventurous offerings of our scenic surroundings.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Adheres to policies of Taos Ski Valley, Inc.Greet and help Blake guests and visitors navigate The Blake, The Spa and Wellness Center and TSV.Well versed in The Blake Spa and Wellness Centers services and products.Adheres to checklists and ensures all personally assigned tasks are accomplished.Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products.Meets guests needs through engaging in active listening from guest check-in to check-out.Arrvies to work in assigned uniform with polished appearance.Works assigned schedule and arrives and departs from shift on time.Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holdiays and evenings.Attends all scheduled meetings and professional development trainings.Reports any incidents or accidents to management.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge: High School Diploma or GED preferredProficient in reading, speaking and writing EnglishA minimum of two years experience in customer service and or hospitality.A minimum of two years working with point of sale and credit card processing software.Basic understanding of skin types and treatment options for various skin conditions.Knowledge of basic facial and massage contraindicationsMust have a professional manner, use discretion with guests and other staff.Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
