Job Summary

National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking an Electrician.

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment.

The address of the facility is 9609 W Market St in Colfax, NC 27235.

Job Responsibilities



* Install electrical devices such as limit switches, lights, encoders, e-stops


* Pull wire and make terminations of the complete electrical system for equipment


* Ability to troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC's


* Troubleshoot controls, troubleshoot wiring issues


* Install and wire new equipment per electrical drawings


* Ability to perform light mechanical work, and able to work independently


* Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements



* High school diploma / equivalent or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience


* At least 4 years of electrical experience preferred


* Must be able to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics


* Testing electrical components with various meters to detect short, worn out or weak components and defective connections


* Ability to understand and apply basic math skills


* Ability to use power hand tools, tape measure, etc.


* Working experience of voltages up to 480


* Journeyman electrical license preferred


* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
