Patient Access Specialist I (Full & Part-Time)

We are seeking full-time and part-time Patient Access Specialists to join our teams in Lake Mary and Orlando, Florida.

What You'll Do
* Welcome patients and families with professionalism, kindness, and respect.
* Complete registration functions accurately and efficiently for each encounter.
* Verify and update demographics, insurance information, primary care provider or referral physician details, and pharmacy of preference when required.
* Review insurance benefits, determine patient financial responsibility, and create good faith estimates when applicable.
* Explain essential and legal forms clearly and collect patient responsibility or outstanding balances at the time of service.
* Ensure financial assessments, eligibility, and benefits information are accurate and complete.
* Properly identify patients and secure required forms in alignment with regulatory and Nemours Children's Health policies.
* Support bedside admissions using workstation-on-wheels technology or downtime processes when needed.
* Clear assigned Workqueues and help resolve patient accounts according to departmental standards.
* Partner closely with clinical, ancillary, and patient access teams to keep communication clear, respectful, and timely.
