Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Executive Operations Specialist to provide executive administrative support, strategic planning coordination, and project management partnership for Executive Leaders within the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) organization.
This role requires extensive interaction with various internal teams as well as external customers.
The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to collaborate effectively with leaders, customers and administrative peers.
The ideal candidate must be naturally curious, a continuous learner and advanced in the adoption of existing and new technology to find ways of automating and simplifying work processes.

Our Team
Georgia-Pacific's Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) organization is tasked with the strategic category management, sourcing, and procurement of essential materials and services for over 140 locations nationwide.
The SS&P organization is currently embarking on an exciting transformation alongside our business partners, developing new capabilities to identify and seize significant opportunities in pricing, total cost of ownership, and sourcing execution.
This initiative is a key component of Georgia-Pacific's ongoing transformation.

What You Will Do
* Analyze business data and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making
* Maintain reporting tools, dashboards and project documentation
* Facilitate meetings, document decisions and track action items to ensure timely completion
* Provide administrative support to the leadership team including, calendar, meeting, event and catering coordination, expense reports, and domestic and international travel arrangements that may include requesting use of Koch corporate plane
* Serve as a change agent, manage and communicate any IT or related changes that may impact the team, understanding the impact and effectively communicating changes
* Assist in supporting floor office duties such as mail distribution, shipments, identifying facilities related items, office and break room supply ordering and management, and employee move requests.
* Coordinate large meetings and events that includes internal and external attendees including supplier meetings
* Act as a liaison, problem solver, and facilitator as the first contact for the team.
Working with office support capabilities such as IT, AV, Facilities, Ambassadors
* Handle administrative duties including procurement card for department, department and direct report meetings, and file management
