Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time Department: Resident CareLocation: Health CareReports to: Director of NursingEmployment Type: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt & Part-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt Available Shifts: Day Shift, 7:00am - 7:00pm Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team.

In this role, you will provide high-quality, hands-on care while assisting residents with personal care, daily activities, mobility, dining, and other individual needs.

The ideal candidate will treat every resident with dignity, respect, patience, and kindness while helping promote their comfort, safety, and independence.

Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, incontinence care, positioning, transfers, and mobility.

Encourage residents to remain as independent as their abilities allow.

Change bed linens and assist with collecting, laundering, and distributing linens and garments as permitted by applicable regulations.

Accurately document resident care and complete all required forms and records.

Promptly report changes in a resident's condition or other concerns to the supervisor in charge.

Monitor and record vital signs as directed by regulations, community policies, or a healthcare provider's order.

Respond promptly to emergency call signals and requests for assistance.

Follow all accident, disaster, fire-safety, elopement, infection-control, and emergency procedures.

Report incidents promptly and complete all required documentation professionally and accurately.

Immediately report suspected abuse, neglect, inappropriate care, or misuse of resident or community property to the Director of Nursing.

Become familiar with residents' backgrounds, preferences, routines, habits, and interests while protecting their privacy and confidentiality.

Support residents during mealtimes and help create an enjoyable dining experience.

Assist residents with eating and with carrying plates, trays, and beverages as needed.

Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms, work areas, dining spaces, and public areas as assigned.

Use and maintain resident-care equipment safely and properly.

Communicate professionally with residents, families, visitors, healthcare providers, supervisors, and team members.

Protect residents' rights, dignity, safety, comfort, privacy, and satisfaction.

Answer telephone calls according to company and community standards when requested.

Assist in other positions or departments temporarily when necessary.

Perform other duties as assigned.
