Substitute Teacher

Position Reports to: Principal Position Overview: The substitute teacher is responsible for maintaining an academic, behavioral, and spiritually stimulating atmosphere in the absence of the regular teacher, to the praise and glory of God.

Position Responsibilities: Demonstrates spiritual maturityRelate with appropriate and respectful voice and actions to all childrenResponsible for safety and welfare of childrenProvides effective and appropriate discipline within school guidelinesInitiates meeting the needs of the students and staffWorks well with children & youthPrompt and reliable attendance recordAble to read and respond well to teachers given instructions Other position appropriate duties as deemed necessary by the Principal or Teacher.
