Assistant Project Manager - Culvert Inspection
GPI is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our NYSDOT Large Culvert Inspection Program.
This position is responsible for assisting with project planning, scheduling, coordination, tracking, and overall program administration to help ensure inspection assignments are completed efficiently and on schedule.

For more information, visit: www.gpinet.com Responsibilities: Assist with the management and execution of the inspection program to support timely project completion.Coordinate and distribute inspection assignments to field teams based on project needs, deadlines, and available resources.Develop and maintain project schedules while monitoring deliverables, deadlines, and overall progress.Utilize databases and project management tools to track progress, maintain records, and generate reports.Coordinate project logistics, access requirements, permitting, and other project-related activities.Collaborate with project managers, technical staff, clients, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery.Support project reporting, budget tracking, invoicing, and other administrative functions.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize scheduling, and reduce project costs.
Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Experience with project coordination, scheduling, operations management, construction administration, engineering support, or transportation-related projects is preferred.Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
