Job Summary: Responsible for delivering professional, accurate, and courteous service to members while supporting the promotion of Credit Union products and services.

Job Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required.

Prior experience in cash handling and sales is preferred.

Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is necessary.

Essential Elements of the Job: 1.

Present a friendly and professional image of yourself and the Credit Union.

2.

Deliver accurate, prompt, and courteous service when handling member transactions.

3.

Communicate clearly and respectfully with members and Midwest America staff.

4.

Protect member privacy/confidentiality and verify identity per Credit Union procedures.

5.

Follow all security and transaction processing guidelines.

6.

Assist with fraud documentation when needed, following established procedures.

7.

Handle cash responsibly and securely using drawer and recycler protocols.

8.

Identify opportunities to offer helpful Credit Union products and services; refer new account, loan or mortgage inquiries appropriately.

9.

Keep your workspace clean and organized in line with our clean desk policy.

Additional Responsibilities: 1.

Take part in the required Credit Union training.

2.

Support local community events as needed.

3.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

4.

Participate in the Credit Unions volunteer program.

Job Skills and Work Relations: Employee must demonstrate proficient phone etiquette skills, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Effective comprehension, verbal communication, and written communication skills in English.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Symitar, and Excel.

Employee must possess proficient organizational and self-starter skills, good problem-solving and team-player skills, and display tact and professionalism in working closely with co-workers, other departments, and members.

Employee reports directly to the Branch Manager Physical Effort and Working Conditions: Employee performs duties in a standard office environment involving remaining in a stationary position most of the time, keyboarding close vision, and communication.

May be required to move up to 50 pounds.
