Position Summary

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our facility.

This position helps ensure a comfortable and sanitary environment where our residents can thrive and feel at home.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities


* Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, including resident areas, common spaces, and grounds.


* Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.


* Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures.


* Replenish restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.


* Remove trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.


* Operate and maintain housekeeping and janitorial equipment safely and effectively.


* Report maintenance concerns, repairs, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.


* Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.


* Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience


* High school diploma or GED preferred.


* Prior housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.


* Experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting is a plus.
