What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout our skilled nursing facility by:


* Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas


* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors and surfaces


* Cleaning lobbies, restrooms, hallways, windows, mirrors, drinking fountains, and handrails


* Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners


* Operating housekeeping equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines


* Maintaining housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply rooms in a clean and organized manner


* Following infection control procedures and facility safety policies


* Properly storing cleaning chemicals and using caution signage when appropriate


* Reporting resident safety concerns promptly to leadership


* Monitoring housekeeping supplies and notifying the Director of Housekeeping when inventory needs replenishment


* Providing friendly, professional customer service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers


* Working independently and collaboratively to maintain high cleanliness standards

What We're Looking For


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, hotel, or long-term care is a plus—but we're willing to train motivated candidates


* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions


* Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills


* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment


* Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements


* Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling


* Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds


* Repetitive cleaning activities throughout the shift


* Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools
