Pick/Pack Associate
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pick/Pack Associate to support warehouse fulfillment operations.
This role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, documenting, and preparing customer orders for shipment or storage.
The Pick/Pack Associate must follow company and customer requirements while meeting established standards for accuracy, quality, productivity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities Read and accurately fulfill customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions.Pick, count, weigh, and verify items against order specifications.Scan LPNs, UPCs, location codes, and other barcodes to maintain accurate inventory and order records.Assemble orders in totes, cartons, or on pallets and secure products to prevent damage.Pack, label, and prepare completed orders for shipment or storage in accordance with company, carrier, and customer requirements.Inspect products and packaging for accuracy, quality, and damage; report discrepancies and remove defective items from shipment.Properly use packaging materials, hand tools, equipment, and supplies.Complete required paper and electronic order, packing, inventory, and shipping documentation.Organize completed orders by shipping location, carrier, route, or other designated category.Maintain accurate records of packaging supplies and notify Management of shortages.Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, and follow all warehouse safety procedures.Meet established productivity, accuracy, quality, and attendance expectations.Participate in cross-department training and work collaboratively to support operational needs.Perform other duties supporting business operations or facilities maintenance as assigned by Management.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.Previous warehouse, picking, packing, shipping, or distribution experience preferred.Ability to read and follow order instructions, packaging guidelines, and established procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.Ability to operate barcode scanners, basic warehouse equipment, and electronic order systems.Basic computer skills for completing electronic forms and documentation.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift or move materials within established safety limits.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
