Gallery Officer

The Peabody Essex museum is seeking a candidate for a full-time Security Gallery Officer position at 40 hours per week.

Our professional security staff is responsible for enforcing museum security policies and procedures in order to protect PEM's notable collections, exhibits, and property.

In addition, Gallery Officers are responsible for safeguarding and providing assistance to museum visitors and staff within and around the museum complex.

The right candidate must possess excellent communication skills, enjoys working with the public, and presents a professional attitude at all times.

This is a forward facing role that requires regular interaction with the public and the ability to stay calm during an emergency or conflict.
