Development Manager

The Development Manager secures funds, grows the donor base, and advances awareness of West Centrals mission and work.

The Development Manager develops and implements fundraising campaigns, secures foundation and corporate grants, manages stakeholder relationships, and plans events to support West Centrals overall strategy.

This role supports organizational growth during a pivotal period and will contribute to an upcoming capital campaign through donor cultivation, solicitation support, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities: In collaboration with the VP of Community Engagement, develop and execute annual fundraising strategies aligned with the agency's strategic planPlan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and follow-upMaintain the donor database and ensure accuracy of all gift records for tax, audit, and historical purposesBuild and steward relationships with donors, board members, volunteers, and community partnersCraft compelling donor communications and fundraising materials across multiple channelsResearch, write, and submit grant proposals to foundation, corporate, and municipal funders; coordinate all grantor reportingMonitor and evaluate fundraising outcomes and recommend improvementsPrepare monthly development reports for the Board's Development & Community Relations Committee and executive leadership
