Van/Bus Driver - OST Weekley On Site
Position Summary: The Van/Bus Driver will transport children participating in the YMCA before and after school program.
As a vehicle driver, individuals top priority is safety.
It is also important to build positive working relationships with the children, parents and coworkers.
Essential Functions: Drive vehicle safely according to YMCA policies and procedures and state laws.Ensure safety of children, making sure they are picked up and dropped off at appropriate locations.Completes thorough before-and-after trip checks each day and records all information.Records gas level, mileage, and maintenance on designated forms.Cleans out bus each day.Promotes safety at all times by keeping first aid supplies fully stocked.Ensures that van rules are announced and followed.Communicates regularly with other staff members and supervisor.Reports suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.Follows mandated abuse and incident reporting requirements.Meet timelines and deadlines related to supporting systems and employee compliance.
