Position Overview

All Production/Maintenance positions are interchangeable depending on production/maintenance needs.

You will have a primary position during regular production, but throughout your career you can expect this primary position to change as production needs change.

Whenever plant maintenance is required (at least one day per week), all employees work together on all maintenance.

Job is often outdoors, and weather related, involving manual skills, some math and reasoning and continuous safety applications around heavy equipment.

Wage: $28.89+/HR DOE w/ potential for overtime

Shift: Primarily work 10+ hours per day, 5 days per week.

Nights/weekends/overtime as needed.

Location: Salem, OR and the surrounding area.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Minimum Qualifications:


* Two years of experience in a mining or excavation role.


* Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.


* Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.


* Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.


* Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.


* Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision.


* Demonstrates the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks.


* Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Experience in construction, crushing, and/or related field.


* Knowledge of machines, equipment, mechanic's hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting equipment, lubricating tools, hoists, cranes, and service trucks.


* Knowledge of crushing and production equipment.


* Welding skills.
