Pay Range: $18.45-$19.00 per hour

Position Summary

Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Janitor to join our team.

The Janitor is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

This position plays an important role in supporting the comfort, health, and well-being of those in our care.

Essential Responsibilities


* Help keep the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained.


* Clean common areas, hallways, restrooms, resident rooms, and other designated spaces.


* Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash throughout the facility.


* Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks as assigned.


* Maintain outdoor areas, including walkways and entrances.


* Replace light bulbs and assist with minor facility upkeep.


* Respond to cleaning and maintenance requests in a timely manner.


* Keep cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment organized and stocked.


* Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.


* Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns to your supervisor.


* Work cooperatively with staff to support a comfortable environment for residents.


* Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.


* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* Previous janitorial, housekeeping, maintenance, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.


* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.


* Reliable, punctual, and professional.
