Position Summary

Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team.

In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will play an important part in supporting the health, well-being, and overall experience of those we serve.

Essential Responsibilities


* Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and other facility spaces.


* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces throughout the facility.


* Dust furniture, handrails, windowsills, and other fixtures to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.


* Clean and sanitize public restrooms and common areas according to facility standards.


* Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed.


* Follow proper infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.


* Safely use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.


* Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and cleaning equipment organized and sanitary.


* Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly to the appropriate department.


* Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.


* Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.


* Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.


* Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, hospitality, or related setting is preferred but not required.


* Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards.


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.


* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean environment.


* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
