Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for individuals to join their dynamic team as a Tool Prep Tech at the Jonesboro, AR facility.

The Tool Prep Techs primary responsibility is to set up and operate conventional and special purpose machines to clean production tooling.

Pay: $21.00 to $23.60

Shifts Available: Monday-Friday 645am to 245pm

What You Will Do


* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals


* Maintain and secure work tools


* Clean and maintain facility production tooling


* Clean and maintain a safe work area


* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on tooling


* Troubleshoot and recognize damage on tooling


* Use a micrometer, vernier calipers, ice cleaning equipment, drill press and other production tools


* Work with Supervisors, engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve tool cleaning problems


* Develop specs from a general description and draw a sketch of the part to be fabricated

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Experience using a micrometer, vernier calipers, ice cleaning equipment, drill press and other production tools


* Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
