Investment Banking [Multiple Positions Available]

Duties: Perform valuation analyses using methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), public comparables, precedent transactions, and ability-to-pay analyses by reviewing financial statements and conducting market, industry, and company-specific research.

Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate transaction structures, macroeconomic trends, and projection assumptions.

Analyze strategic alternatives, capital structure, and financial policy considerations for clients in the Media & Communications sector, providing advisory support for key financial decisions.

Create marketing materials such as teasers and investor presentations to highlight investment rationale, competitive positioning, market entry strategy, and financial performance.

Coordinate due diligence processes, transaction structuring, and documentation review in collaboration with clients, legal counsel, accounting firms, and other external advisors.

Provide guidance and support to junior analysts on transaction execution tasks, including training on financial modeling and analytical best practices.

Up to 25% domestic travel required to client sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Employer will accept a 3 year or a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking Associate, Analyst, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking Associate, Analyst, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: building and maintaining financial models to evaluate transaction outcomes, capital structure scenarios, and investment strategies using Microsoft Excel, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, and MSCI; building complex, multi-tab models, including accretion and dilution, merger models, and pro forma analyses using Microsoft Excel, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, and MSCI; analyzing financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess company performance, trends, accounting metrics, and overall financial health using Microsoft Excel, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Equity Research; evaluating investment risks, valuation, and capital market positioning in public and private securities using Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, MSCI, Moody's Analytics, S&P, and Fitch analytics; supporting and leading the execution of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, drafting marketing materials, and coordinating with legal and accounting advisors using Datasite, Intralinks, SecureDocs (VDR providers), PitchBook, Rogo, and Crunchbase; developing valuation models using methodologies inc...
