Facilities Coordinator
Job Summary: The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining facility maintenance, repairs, and operational support across the organization.
This position partners with department leaders and employees to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained through preventive maintenance, vendor management, and repair coordination.
The Facilities Coordinator also supports organizational security and safety initiatives, performs company truck runs to transport materials and equipment between facilities and vendors, and provides occasional support to Product Development by completing first article laser cuts and prototype production as needed.
Job Components: Major Responsibilities Manage incoming maintenance and facility service requests.
Plan, coordinate, and track preventive maintenance activities.
Prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs.
Collaborate with internal departments to identify and resolve facility-related issues.
Serve as the primary point of contact for facility vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Coordinate and oversee vendor performance, negotiate pricing, and ensure work meets company standards and project specifications.
Schedule and coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building repairs.
Perform routine truck runs between company facilities, suppliers, vendors, and service providers to transport equipment, materials, parts, and other business-related items.
Support inventory movement and material transfers between facilities as needed.
Provide occasional support to the Product Development team by producing first article laser cuts, prototypes, and sample components using company laser equipment.
Assist Product Development with prototype preparation and production priorities when requested.
Support organizational safety, security, and OSHA initiatives in partnership with the C.I.R.C.
Maintain facility maintenance records, vendor documentation, and service history.
Assist with emergency facility repairs and after-hours issues when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade license, military experience, or technical training in Mechanics, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Facilities Maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Previous Experience: Three or more years of facilities maintenance, facilities coordination, or related experience.
Experience coordinating contractors and vendors.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
Experience operating company vehicles for business purposes preferred.
Experience operating laser equipment or supporting manufacturing and product development is a plus.
