Summary:

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily transportation and material movement operations.

This role ensures efficient route planning, scale operations, carrier performance, and customer service while maintaining compliance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

The Logistics Specialist serves as a key point of contact between internal teams, customers, and external carriers to ensure seamless execution of logistics activities.

What you'll be contributing:



* Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.


* Plans, schedules, and optimizes daily routes to maximize efficiency, minimize transportation costs & provide an excellent customer experience.


* Monitors and adjusts routes in real-time to address operational changes, delays, or disruptions.


* Coordinates with customers, dispatch, operations, and drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.


* Analyzes carrier and route performance, identifies & promotes opportunities for continuous improvement.


* Oversees scale operations, including accurate weighing of inbound/outbound loads.
