About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a leader in the heavy materials and industrial sector, for a Full-Time Entry-Level Aggregate Maintenance Technician working the Swing Shift at their Platte Valley facility.

This role is responsible for maintaining mining and processing equipment in a state of readiness.

You will perform appropriate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment, and prepare required daily/weekly department operating reports.

Key Responsibilities:


* Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and company procedures.


* Maintain an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.


* Inspect the condition and operation of plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.


* Perform required emergency repairs on production equipment to address plant breakdowns.


* Report required repairs or other findings to the Supervisor.


* Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies, completing all required paperwork in a timely fashion.


* Demonstrate a strict commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies, actively promoting a culture of safety across all work areas.

Required Qualifications:


* Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.


* Experience: Basic experience or familiarity with mechanical repair, installation, and construction within industrial environments.


* Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance skills, including stick welding, arc welding, light fabrication, cutting torch operation, and the use of hand tools.


* Computer Skills: Basic computer and software skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Experience operating a skid-steer, man-lift, and other industrial heavy equipment.

Physical Requirements & Safety:


* Strict adherence to all safety protocols is required.


* Safety Note: Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, is mandatory.

Employees required to wear tight-fitting respirators must pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
