Field Safety Manager, SDI Services (Temporary Assignment)

The Site Safety Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a secure and compliant work environment at construction sites, industrial facilities, or other high-risk workplaces.

This position is responsible for implementing safety protocols, assessing risks, and promoting a culture of safety among employees and contractors.

The Site Safety Manager collaborates with management to develop safety programs, monitors compliance, investigates incidents, and provides training to ensure all on-site activities meet regulatory standards and prioritize the well-being of personnel.

This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Peoria, IL.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:


* Developing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.


* Conducting regular site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures.


* Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety violations, and recommend corrective actions.


* Coordinating safety training programs, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining records of safety activities and incidents.


* Participates in safety audits and compliance assessments.


* Oversee administrative tasks, such as contract negotiation, procurement, and document management, to maintain project documentation.
