Maintenance Mechanic/Technician - Night Shift

ConMet - Canton, NC location is looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems.

This is a 12 Hour Night shift Position.

What You Will Do: 


* Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems


* Fabricate and install mechanical components


* Perform required preventative maintenance


* Collaborate with other team members


* Observe and comply with all company rules and regulations including the NFPA 70E Arc Flash PPE and procedures

What You Need to be Successful: 


* College and/or trade school highly preferred


* Minimum 2 years of related industrial maintenance mechanic experience required


* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints required


* Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations


* Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage systems


* Experience in field service, hydraulics systems or industrial electrician roles is a plus


* Working knowledge of PLC programming and operation is a plus


* Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics


* Willingness to learn how to safely utilize a forklift and a high-lift
