Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer II
The Engineer II Manufacturing Process Quality is responsible for ensuring quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle to improve customer satisfaction and operational performance.
This role drives a quality-focused culture, strengthens manufacturing processes and product robustness, reduces quality risks, supports supplier quality improvements, and ensures effective quality management during new product introductions and manufacturing changes.
The position requires strong technical expertise in manufacturing quality, process control, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver sustainable quality outcomes.
What Will You Do?
* Promote and support a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
* Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to reduce defects, improve process robustness, and mitigate quality risks.
* Conduct root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Support quality aspects of new manufacturing line implementations, product launches, and process changes through effective change management.
* Perform process audits and ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
* Utilize quality management systems (QMS) and process control methodologies to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
* Partner with Procurement Quality and suppliers to address quality issues, drive corrective actions, and improve supplier performance.
* Apply Lean methodologies and continuous improvement techniques to enhance product quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
* Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to achieve business objectives.
What Skills and Capabilities Will Make You Successful?
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
* Experience in manufacturing quality, process quality, quality assurance, or continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of QMS, Process Control, Lean Manufacturing, Regulatory Compliance, and Change Management.
* Experience with Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Process Audits, and CAPA.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing quality principles and Quality Management Systems (QMS), with experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
