Project Search Skills Trainer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide occupational experiences for identified students Provide job development activities to secure job sites for placements and job shadowing experiences.

Provide job coaching for students placed in community employment.

Maintain effective communication with Transition Coordinator regarding program activities.

Maintain documentation of goals, strategies, and progress for all students.

Utilize effective job coaching techniques including task analysis, prompts, and fading.

Provide follow-up and support services as needed.

Assist in transportation arrangements for employees who are placed in community and/or transport as needed.

Maintain a safe work environment.

Participate in program evaluation and revise program as required.

Assist Transition Coordinator with job club activities as needed.

Assist with the implementation of transition plans, which result from the IEP meetings.

Participate in or conduct meetings with parents regarding transition or employment in coordination with the Transition Coordinator.

Represent the transition project to the public as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
