About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of one of the world’s leading manufacturers and distributors of quality home furnishings.

Our client operates large-scale manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, retail, and corporate facilities.

We are seeking a skilled Licensed HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across their operational footprint.

Key Responsibilities



* Install, repair, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), air handlers, chillers, boilers, and air distribution networks in compliance with building codes.


* Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures, replace defective components (compressors, motors, fans, controls), and perform brazed repairs alongside refrigerant recovery and charging.


* Execute plant-wide preventive maintenance programs, including scheduled inspections, filter changes, lubrication, coil cleaning, and system performance monitoring.


* Maintain detailed maintenance records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).


* Troubleshoot electrical components, including motors, contactors, relays, and power distribution systems (120V–480V) using electrical schematics.


* Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and digital controls, including VFDs and programmable thermostats.


* Service refrigeration units while maintaining full EPA compliance for refrigerant handling, recovery, and recycling.


* Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and PPE requirements.

What We Are Looking For



* Certifications: EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.

Valid Driver's License required.


* Experience: Practical experience maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems in commercial or industrial facilities.


* Technical Skills: Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, including schematic reading, high-voltage electrical diagnostics (120V–480V), and proper hand/test tool usage.


* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent technical background.

Preferred Qualifications



* Industrial electrical experience or State HVAC Contractor / Journeyman / Master License.
