IT Specialist

Key Responsibilities


* Administration of IT Server and Network infrastructure.


* Management of IT vendor and external outsourcing IT contractors.


* Prepare IT technical documentation, policies, and procedures.


* Provide Level 1 end-user computing and network support to all locations including office, stores and warehouse.


* Perform regular patch management and planned Operating Systems or equivalent infrastructure software/firmware upgrades to ensure technology end of life/vulnerable products are upgraded/retired to address vulnerability/support risks.


* Setup and Maintain IT Infrastructure (Virtual Environment, Storage, Network equipment, Firewall, Video Conferencing and IP Telephony).


* Monitoring of routine operations (Server Room, Backup, Antivirus Updates, Network, etc).


* Setup and maintain Cloud architecture such as Azure, AWS and other similar cloud technologies.


* Maintain close collaboration with Regional IT team in Singapore.


* Perform technology evaluation and technology refresh.


* Records and secure all IT Assets.

Requirements & Capabilities


* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.


* 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.


* Proven experience in end-user and network equipment support.


* Ability to manage projects and see through to completion.


* Ability to work independently and with others.


* Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.


* Excellent documentation skills.


* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.


* Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.


* Technical Microsoft and Cisco certifications is preferred.
