About The Role
We are hiring on behalf of one of our client companies.
As a Level 3 Machinist, you will play a critical role in producing precision machined parts using both manual and CNC machining tools.
You will apply your technical expertise to deliver high-quality manufacturing output while adhering strictly to safety and quality standards.
You will report directly to the Production Supervisor at the Arvada, CO facility.

* Hourly Pay Range: $30.29 - $37.18 / hour

Key Responsibilities
* Operate manual and CNC machining equipment—including lathes, mills, jig bores, and horizontal boring mills—to produce precision components to exact specifications.
* Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan machining sequences and setup specifications.
* Perform detailed inspections and quality measurements using precision instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, surface plates, profilometers, and optical comparators.
* Ensure full compliance with safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines, and machine shop organization standards.
* Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize machining workflows, reduce setup times, and maintain steady production output.
What we are looking for
* Demonstrated hands-on experience as a machinist operating manual and CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) in an industrial manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and deep familiarity with precision machining processes.
* Proven ability to interpret technical engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
* Demonstrated proficiency using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
* Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification in machining or a related trade.
* Knowledge of machine shop safety regulations, OSHA standards, and quality management principles.
