Finance and Administration Manager

Position Overview The Finance & Administration Manager serves as a cross-functional leader responsible for financial management, accounting oversight, administrative leadership, and human resources operations at Mayser USA.

This role acts as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and the broader leadership team, supporting operational performance, financial discipline, compliance, and employee engagement.

The position is accountable for driving financial results, maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with U.S.

GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements, and leading core HR processes including recruitment, employee relations, and workforce development.

This hands-on leadership role requires the ability to balance strategic direction with day-to-day execution across finance, administration, and HR functions in a mid-sized manufacturing environment.

Key Finance & Accounting Responsibilities Lead plant finance, accounting, controlling, treasury, and financial planning activities for the U.S.

operation.

Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager & President and leadership team by providing financial analysis, operational insights, and decision support.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, annual budgets, and management reports accurately and on time.

Drive financial performance through variance analysis, KPI monitoring, margin analysis, cost control initiatives, and profitability improvement measures.

Manage and improve manufacturing cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation, standard costing, labor and overhead absorption, and manufacturing variance analysis.

Analyze production performance, material usage, scrap, labor efficiency, and operational trends to identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures to support accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.

Coordinate month-end and year-end close activities and ensure compliance with U.S.

GAAP, corporate policies, and statutory requirements.

Support internal and external audits and act as the primary finance contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks, and corporate stakeholders.

Monitor cash flow, liquidity, banking activities, and working capital performance, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management.

Partner with operations, supply chain, engineering, and purchasing teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of ERP data related to costing, inventory, production, and financial reporting.

Lead and track cost reduction initiatives with defined annual savings goals.

Participate in monthly operations reviews and provide financial insights on labor, scrap, throughput, and cost performance.
