Summary:

The HR Business Partner is an on-site, hands-on, collaborative HR partner to plant leaders and employees at assigned cement plant location.

This role is responsible for the localized delivery of HR operations and programs including policy interpretation and compliance, onboarding, employee and labor relations, leave administration, performance management, and talent development.

The HRBP models effective business partnership and serves as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leaders at the site level, operating within the company's centralized HR business partner model.

This is a fully onsite position.

What you'll be contributing:



* Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.


* Serve as the day-to-day HR resource for plant employees and leaders at assigned site


* Collaborate and align with centralized HR programs for benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, learning & development, and payroll


* Manage Leaves of Absence, FMLA, and ADA accommodations including record maintenance and coordination with vendors


* Manage employee relations issues including performance management, discipline, and arbitration; escalate to Sr.

HRBP or HR Director when appropriate


* Support union contract interpretation and grievance handling with guidance from Sr.

HRBP


* Investigate and document employee complaints; participate in EEOC or related processes


* Guide leaders through performance management activities including reviews and terminations


* Coordinate with talent acquisition team for site-level openings


* Responsible for onboarding of new employees for all site-level openings


* Administer the affirmative action plan and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion


* Support continuous learning and development through training coordination and goal setting


* Maintain accurate employee records in UKG/HRIS and coordinate with HRIS team on data changes and updates
