Position Overview

The Property and Land Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing company-owned rental properties, agricultural leases, and land management activities related to mining operations.

This role coordinates property maintenance, environmental compliance, contractor services, and stakeholder relationships to ensure company assets are maintained safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manages equipment utilization and schedules maintenance repairs as needed

• Communicates and manages company rental home requests, repairs and emergencies for 4 houses

• Receives repair bids for housing and grounds equipment

• Requests bids for farm lease contracts

• Works with government agencies (USDA) on required compliance issues

• Assists in acquisitions and sales of property

• Manages area wildlife sites (labor/maintenance, documentation and surveys to be submitted with 3rd party organization for certification)

• Facilitates agreements with neighboring landowners of mine sites

• Requests bids for grounds care of facilities with compliant subcontractors

• Receives bids for land and tree clearing of mine sites

• Submit county CAUV applications, adjusting acreage dependent on stripping operations and communicating with farm tenants on crop planting or utilization

• Maintains Environmental Protection Agency compliance records and reporting

• Works with environmental consultants to complete and submit wetland and zoning permits

• Perform vegetation management/herbicide application at all locations, perform annual purchases based on seasonal utilization

• Understand company owned parcels/property lines and NPDES outfalls

• Works with management and mine-site professionals on other issues as needed

Other Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.

• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

• Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
