Laborer

Job Description Summary


* Application, including shoveling, sweeping, raking, mechanical assistance, lifting, pushing and pulling of various objects.

Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.

Other duties as assigned per supervisor.


* Starting Pay $19.50 per hour

Requirements


* Must partner with crew members per plan specifications, and if need be, perform tasks of other positions as instructed by crew foreman to ensure daily schedules/estimates are met.


* Usage of various handheld tools.


* Attendance required according to attendance policy to ensure crew ability to operate at a normal efficiency level.


* Physical ability to shovel and to rake asphalt, stone, and dirt, as well as, manage traffic flow under extreme temperatures and for extended periods of time.


* Initiative to perform/assist with other positions for job completions.


* Attitude/cooperation: always maintain courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the general public.


* Flagger Certification is an essential function of the job and certification will be required to be obtained during new hire orientation.

Preferences


* Previous experience.

Education/Experience


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
