Transit Driver (CDL/Non-CDL) - Part Time

The City of Frankfort is seeking a part-time Transit Driver to join our team at our new facility.

Under general supervision, this position operates a City passenger vehicle following designated routes, time schedules, or demand-response ADA routing while ensuring passenger safety.Key responsibilities include: - Driving buses within City limits and occasionally transporting passengers on special tours.

- Ensuring the safe and clean operating condition of the vehicle, checking key components daily, and reporting maintenance issues.

- Promptly reporting accidents, unusual activities, or complaints to supervisors.

- Collecting tickets, recording passenger counts, and maintaining accurate activity logs.

- Observing all speed limits, traffic laws, and safety regulations.Position Details: - 80100 hours per month (approximately 20 hours per week).

- Hours vary between 6:00 AM6:45 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:15 AM3:45 PM on Saturdays.

Saturdays and some holidays are expected.
