Job Summary

This position functions as a general assist to operations and will be cross trained to operate production equipment, forklift, tumbler, and perform quality control tasks.

Job Responsibilities



* Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner


* Assist in prepping shipment by weighing, wrapping, palletizing and labeling


* Verify production counts on pallets


* Unload inbound freight from trailers at receiving dock


* Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate manner


* Move trash and metal scrap to outside dumpsters


* Move material to and from machines


* Move production work in process between operations


* Move finished product to warehouse


* Occasional production handwork, as needed

Job Requirements



* High school diploma or equivalent required


* At least 1 year of experience


* Ability to operate a forklift


* Ability to perform basic math skills accurately


* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions


* Lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.


* Requires often lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, twisting, sitting, standing, climbing, reaching


* Ability to safely climb stairs and ladders while maintaining 3 points of contact at all times
