Human Resources Assistant

Position Summary The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources Division, with a primary focus on Associate Records and Talent Acquisition.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting HR operations through the effective use of theHRIS, GoodPoint, and other approved systems.

The HR Assistant also serves as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and plays a critical role in onboarding, record management, and background screening processes.

Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) 1.

Provide Talent Acquisition and onboarding support by completing criminal, DMV, and LEIE background checks.

Posting open positions on job boards.

Scheduling and facilitating onboarding sessions.

Extending frontline associate job offers.

Provide employee support & customer Service by transferring calls and responding to caller inquiries in person, via email, and by phone.

3.

Assist with HR administration and compliance maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS and hard copy files.

Keep CDL Driver files in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

4.

Administrative support responsibilities include ordering supplies, utilizing various systems and databases for HR operations.

5.

Provides performance management support by entering and updating performance review profiles in HRIS for new hires and newly promoted employees.

6.

Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance High School Diploma or GED required.

1-3 Years' experience in a related field preferred.

No professional certifications are required for this position.

The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.

Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks and sex offender check.

Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
