Team Lead – Manufacturing Production (2nd shift)

We're hiring a Team Lead-Manufacturing Production (2nd shift) at Schneider Electric-Fairfield 1, to supervise manual cell operations and drive daily performance in safety, quality, and output.

What will you do?


* Lead daily manual cell operations to achieve safety, quality, and production goals


* Coordinate staffing, work instructions, and material flow while coaching operators on best practices and ergonomics


* Monitor performance, verify quality inspections, and resolve issues swiftly with appropriate escalation


* Manage shift handovers, ensure training compliance, and champion continuous improvement efforts


* Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.


* Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.


* Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.

Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.


* Inspect, built & wired pans.


* Answer questions and contact engineers as needed.


* Inspect wiring quality and electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, etc.


* Repair or replace wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools.


* Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.


* Drive 5S consistency for area of responsibility.


* Work with materials team to ensure parts availability for future production orders.


* Will perform other duties as required.
