Basic Qualifications
Maintenance Tech Trainee
$28.16/hr
Purpose or Goal of Job: Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery, mechanical equipment, and controllers.
Conducts facility maintenance: minor construction, environmental compliance activities, general upkeep of grounds and facility.
Education/Training Required : High school diploma or equivalent GED and prior job experience.
Prefer technical vocational school training in electrical, hydraulics, welding, and mechanical aptitude.
Experience Required: Mechanical equipment repairs and facility maintenance.
Essential Job Tasks (duties) to accomplish purpose/goal, including infrequent and emergency tasks:
* Troubleshoot equipment
* May Weld, cut, braze and solder
* Operates and troubleshoots circuit boards, NC & CNC equipment.
* Interpret diagrams and operation manuals.
* Operates drill presses.
* Troubleshoot programmable controllers, machinery and mechanical equipment.
* Works with others to make independent decisions.
* Reads blueprints.
* Follows all established safety policies and practices.
* Basic facility maintenance
* Conducts safety and environmental audits
* Concrete work
* Plumbing
* Construction projects
* Additional job duties as assigned
